Today, we will discuss another great book that teaches us the mastery of our minds. The Book “Power Of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy” is perhaps one of the most astonishing books written on mindset.
As you would have suspected, the book shows us various exercises on the conscious and subconscious psyche. It shows us the distinction that the Conscious Mind is the one alert and considering everything around us. While, the subconscious mind is one doing everything, that includes all the activities in your day by day life.

Now what I learned from this book is endless knowledge. However, I’ll highlight the most important aspect regarding subconscious mind that will clearly enhance your knowledge on the topic.
Firstly, you must understand that the subconscious mind is the main power behind all of your actions. Everything you do does not happen with magic luck. It happens by programming the mind, which then leads to everyday action. If you start smoking every day. The subconscious mind will automatically make smoking a habit. Likewise, when you skip smoking for a day, the mind will automatically resist, and you will realize that you missed something.
In other words, if your life is dull and boring. This is because of the way your subconscious mind has been trained. On the other hand, if you want to change it, you must reprogram the mind. So how can you train your subconscious mind to do something you want.
Think of a habit, how do you develop a habit. It all starts with consistency and discipline. In the starting days, when I went through the process. It was really hard, because like I said you will feel a lot of resistance when re-programming it. See when a thief does his first robbery, he feels regretful and does not like what he did. When he keeps doing it and becomes consistent, the subconscious mind is then trained, and robberies feel normal. As a result, the thief does not feel any guilt.
Remember, that your thoughts become your action. If you want to change your life and reprogram the subconscious mind. Start with affirmations. Always tell your self “that you can do this”, “I’ll become better”, “this is possible”. Likewise, never tell your self anything is hard. Similarly, If I were you I’d also start ignoring negative people around me. Suppose, you see a car on the road and you keep telling yourself “no that is too expensive, I’ll never buy it”. Then statements like these can damage your subconscious mind and disturb the process. Do you remember Rich Dad Poor Dad? And How Robert Kiyosaki said that
“I’ll never be rich”. And that prophecy became reality. My rich dad, on the other hand, always referred to himself as rich. He would say things like, I’m a rich man, and rich people don’t do this”. Even when we were broke he said I’m a rich man. He would cover himself by saying. There is a difference between being poor and being broke. Broke is temporary. Poor is eternal”
