Today, we will be discussing simple daily day tasks that we should change. To make it clear, these are the tasks that usually everyone is involved in. In this guide, I’ll highlight the bright side of the coin. So lets compare!
Movie or Documentary
Great, you just scheduled a Netflix Show or Season before you sleep. Well, maybe it is time you change the movies to documentaries. I mean movies are good, they are entertaining, but are they worth it? I’m sure you must have watched hundreds of other movies that had no impact on your life. In short, movies bring zero valuable knowledge.
Instead of watching a film, watch a documentary or a real-life sort film. Things like documentaries won’t only help you get more knowledge, but it’ll shape your daily decisions, and how you approach things.
Facebook Posts or Wikipedia
My biggest complaint is that nowadays everybody is waking up and scrolling down their Facebook as if it were a prirotiy. To be honest, its not a priority its a bad habit.
Coming back to the topic, so what you should do from now on, is that you should start reading Wikipedia. You will find a lot of key knowledge. On the other hand, If you daily read something on Wikipedia, you might just end up achieving a lot of knowledge from an ambitious activity.

Remember, knowledge does not go to waste. Someday, your kids will grow, and you might pass on to them. Sitting between highly educated people won’t be a problem. Apart from knowledge, it’ll also get you out of your comfort zone, and get you Disciplined.
When you take actions like these, that are not part of your daily routine. The subconscious mind of ours starts to think differently. I covered that in a different article, make sure you give it a read!
Scrolling Down Instagram or Reddit
Watching some celebrities and people you don’t know is fun. But, have you ever browsed through a community that feels like someone real is talking here? I mean whenever I open Instagram, I see people with incredible cars and fashionable pictures. However, they all look like a robot to me, because they are not really related to my life.
What I do instead, is that I follow some productive and helpful subreddit. This helps me realize that there is a lot more to life instead of just getting impressed by others. These subreddits will not only help you feel like one of them. But it’ll also help you get productive and bring you towards reality.
Songs or Podcast
I love Songs, they are cool to listen. However, If I want to become successful. I’ve to think differently. In other words, start listening to podcasts, because like Wikipedia, Reddit, and Documentaries. You can learn a lot of new things, and in the long run, you might just ACE one of the things you daily listen daily to. Podcasts also help you increase concentration. They are also a good source of information from experts, and you will find a lot of experts in your niche. In contrast, Songs become addicting and they usually do not bring us key info.
10 AM or 5 AM Alarm? Choose Wisely
Waking up at any time you want is awesome. People feel relaxed and according to most of them, it helps them get fresh. Well, not in my or any successful person’s case. I want to program my subconscious mind towards productive habits. In order to do that, I’ll have to become disciplined and follow a nice routine. When you wake up early, you have much more time to do your tasks. In my productivity article, I mentioned the benefits of waking up at 5 AM. Make sure you read it!

Not only that, but the energy level is also really high in the morning. My personal favorite part is that everybody is sleeping, and I’m working really hard. There is no disturbance, and all the natural sounds are epic. Similarly, when you wake up at a fixed time, you might just end up sleeping at the fixed times too. Thus, you followed one of the key principles of Discipline.
Hot Shower or Cold Shower?
Did you take a hot shower like the rest of the population? Well, its time to start doing tasks that others are too afraid to do. In easy words, be different, and do something out of your comfort zone. A cold shower is just a small example, of how the smallest of decisions you make in your daily routine can shape who you are.
